Get a library card?
Anyone regardless of age, sex, race, or current residence can obtain a card, providing that person presents a valid driver’s license or some form of ID listing both name and current address, and agrees to abide by the circulation rules and regulations.
No one may have more than one active library card at any one time.

Avoid paying fines?
Kingman Carnegie Library is now Fine Free!
Why are you getting rid of fines?
We believe no one should be denied access to the library based on their ability to pay fines.
Are there any exceptions to the fine-free policy?
Yes, you will be charged for lost or damaged items. If an item hasn’t been returned by the due date, you will receive a reminder via phone or mail. If the item still hasn’t been returned for an extended period, the account will be charged for the cost of the item plus a $5 processing fee.
How can I support the library if I’m not paying fines?
Thank you for thinking of the library. Your support helps us to purchase items such as books, movies, audiobooks, eBooks, and more! Donations towards programming are always welcome. See more information on supporting the library!
